What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?
It is a great education that you cannot find anywhere else that happened to be 25 minutes down the road from where I grew up. The chance to continue my basketball career was also an added bonus.

What first got you interested in your sport?
When I was very young I grew up playing and my love for the game kept getting stronger and stronger. My parents have been very supportive dedicating their weekends to driving me to all my games so I always play hard for them.

What has been your favorite class at MMA?
Basic Water Skills.

What is the best advice your coach has given you?
To have a high motor, as the harder you work the better you get. 

What motivates you to succeed?
Playing for someone else.

What is your prized possession?
My fantasy football league champion trophy. 

What is your favorite book? (Non-academic)
Papi, My story by David Ortiz. 

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?
That some of my favorite movies are chick flicks, and I watch more of them than the normal girl.

What are your hopes for the future?
To have a good career and a family. 

What advice do you have for incoming freshman?
To be involved in something and to make as many friends as possible, there are so many great people here

What are three things you have with you at all times?
My phone, chap stick, and a pen.

Who is your favorite professional athlete? Why?
David Ortiz, he had a true love for the game and the city he played for, someone everyone can look up to.
