Eric Sabean enters his second year as the Director of Athletics at Maine Maritime Academy, an NCAA Division III institution in Castine, Maine. Sabean, previously served for 12 years as the Assistant Director of Athletics at Saint Anselm College.

Sabean, who also served as the Director of Intramurals, Recreation and Athletic Facilities at Saint Anselm, brings an impressive resume to the athletic department at MMA. A former college coach, Sabean was responsible for supervising nine sports at St. Anselm and was involved in all aspects of the daily operations of a department that included 20 intercollegiate teams.

"I was attracted to Maine Maritime Academy because of its size, location and the strength of their academic and athletic programs," says Sabean. "I came here based on those qualifications and because of the unwaivering dedication and professionalism of our athletic department staff."

Sabean earned his Bachelors degree in Physical Education from Keene State College and his Master's degree in Sport Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He is the proud father of Eric and Emily Sabean.
