Five Mariners Named All-Academic
CASTINE, Maine – Five members of Maine Maritime Academy’s fall sports teams were recognized for their successes in the classroom. Jeremy Bullard (Manhattan, Kan.) of the men’s cross country team, Kari Jones (Nobleboro, Maine) of the women’s soccer team, Jenna King (Old Town, Maine) and Kayley Rodriguez (Quincy, Ill.) of the volleyball team, and Benjamin Russell (Farmington, Maine) of the men’s soccer team were named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team.
Seventy-two student-athletes who participated in a fall conference sport received recognition. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing, have competed a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
