Sherman joined the Mariners’ staff in January and is set for his first fall on the sidelines in Castine. The 2008 Springfield graduate will mentor the offensive line, a position he spent four seasons playing in a Pride uniform. Sherman is a student of the triple-option, which he worked into the offense at Souhegan High School (Amherst, N.H.), where he spent two seasons as a varsity assistant. Sherman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Sports Journalism. He went to work in the Sports Department at WCBS-TV in New York City spending two years as a Production Assistant and Field Producer.
