Coach Bain Pollard begins his first year with the Mariner Men's Basketball program. Pollard is no stranger to college athletics, having coached baseball at Husson University for four years under John Winkin. Coach Pollard is still active in the baseball arena, having coached American Legion ball for the past 10 years. He also coached basketball and baseball at Bucksport High School in 2008-2009.

A Bucksport native, Pollard played baseball at Colby College where he became an All-American in 1974. Bain resides in Orland, Maine.
