Last season the Lady Mariners continued their success by finishing the season with a 18-10 record, capturing their fourth straight North Atlantic Conference championship and advancing to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Lady Mariners were undefeated in conference play and a perfect 11-0 at home. Along the way the team broke several school records and had multiple individual honors.

Chelsea Ward, Lauren Sakahara, Melissa Lail and Jenn Dixon were all named to the NAC All Conference Team. Ward became MMA's third straight Player of the Year in volleyball (she also won this award in 2010) and was named the NAC Tournament MVP. Lauren Sakahara was honored as the NAC Defensive Player of the Year while Lail was selected as the Rookie of the Year. Teammates Heather Moore and Jenn Dixon were named to the NAC All-Tournament Team while Jaymie Frederick , Jenna King and Kayley Rodriguez were named NAC Academic All-Stars. Dagan was honored as NAC Coach of the Year for the second straight year.

Dagan has coached 16 NAC All-Stars, including four time conference all-star Katie Clapham, and three NAC Rookies of the Year (Julia Knights, Ashley Tilton, Melissa Lail). The Lady Mariners led the nation in service aces in 2007 and in the 2006 campaign, Becca Allen was ranked #1 in the nation in aces per game.

Coach Dagan comments, "I am so proud of how far this program has come in such a short amount of time. I have been fortunate to coach some incredible student-athletes who have brought the program and the Academy positive recognition. We have established a winning tradition and the players take great pride in achieving both on the court and off. We have maintained a very high team GPA over the past few years and in 2007 we were honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for earning a 3.6 team GPA. We have had several academic all-stars as well as two Academic All-Americans. Aside from volleyball these young women are involved in many different activities and organizations within the college and surrounding community. Two of our players have been honored as the NAC representative for NCAA Woman of the Year which is based on academic and athletic achievement as well as campus and community service. I am honored to be a part of MMA Volleyball and look forward to the future!"

Dagan is a 1998 graduate of Springfield College, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. While at Springfield, she was a four-year performer and captain for the women's basketball team. After graduation, she went on to earn her Master's Degree in Health Education and joined the women's basketball coaching staff at Springfield. Prior to arriving at MMA, Katrina taught health at Chicopee H.S. (Chicopee, Mass.), while continuing to coach at Springfield.
