What made you come to Maine Maritime Academy?

Some of my family attends MMA, but I really was looking forward to the job placement and the small community feeling it gave.

What first got you interested in your sport?

Being a two-sport athlete I'd have to say my family got me very into sports. My brother got me into soccer. I grew up watching him play and wanted to be like him and my dad got me into basketball because we were the only two in the house he played it so he made me want to keep pursuing it.

What has been your favorite class at MMA?

What is the best advice your coach has given you?

Average athletes don't want to be told anything, good athletes want to be taught but great athletes want to be told the truth.

What motivates you to succeed?

My family

What is your prized possession?

All of my shoes

What is your favorite book? (Non-academic)

The Book Thief

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I've been to over five different countries.

What are your hopes for the future?

What advice do you have for incoming freshman?

Trust the process, it might seem like it's a big mess and you have no idea what’s going on but you need to relax and take time to settle in and everything will work out.

What are three things you have with you at all times?

My phone, all of my rings, and my watch.

Tell us about something outside of MMA and athletics that you are really interested in:

Tennis, very big tennis fan. If MMA had tennis I would like to be a three-sport athlete.
