Season Highlights:

September 18 & 19, 2017: Creeger Earns Pair of Weekly Honors

Following the 45th Annual Admiral's Cup, Corey Creeger earned the Mariners' first-ever NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week honors and was also named to the D3football.com Team of the Week. 

October 14, 2017: Mariners Defeat Bears, 34-16

Senior Corey Creeger amassed 329 yards of total offense, threw a pair of touchdowns and ran for another to lead Maine Maritime Academy football to a 34-16 win over Coast Guard Academy in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at Ritchie Field. 

In that game, Creeger amassed 369 yards of total offense, setting a new single-game record for most total offensive yards gained.

October 16 & 17: Mariners Collect Three Weekly Awards

Following the victory over Coast Guard Academy, Corey Creeger earned his second NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week nod, as well as ECAC Offensive Player of the Week honors and teammate Alec Clark was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

Other Highlights:

Senior James Ferrar surpassed 2,500 career rushing yards in the game against WPI while senior teammate Jacob Doolan surpassed 2,5000 career rushing yards in the game against Catholic. Ferrar and Doolan become the 10th and 11th players in program history to achieve that milestone.

This season Jordan Susi surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards, becoming just the sixth player in program history to do so.

This season, Corey Creeger became just the fourth player in program history to surpass 1,000 career passing and rushing yards. 

November 9, 2017: Mariners Land Five on NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team

Maine Maritime Academy football placed five players on the 2017 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Football Academic All-Conference Team.

Senior Cody O'Brien joined sophomores Spencer Baron, Joshua Crouse, Andrew Plata and Jacob Wolfe on the team. 

November 15, 2017: Breunig, Doyon and O'Brien Named in NEWMAC All-Conference Honors 

Maine Maritime Academy football's Derek Breunig was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) First Team All-Conference, while teammate Jacob Doyon earned NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference honors and senior captain Cody O'Brien was named to the NEWMAC Football All-Sportsmanship Team.

April 11, 2018: Four Named to 2018 NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Maine Maritime Academy football seniors Dylan Bragg, Jacob Doolan, Tyler Gagnon and Cody O'Brien were named to the 2018 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society.

Season Records:

This season, Mason Kaserman set a new single-season record for average yards per catch (39.33).

Career Records:

James Ferrar ranks eighth in program history with 2,838 rushing yards and seventh in program history with 581 rushing attempts.

Corey Creeger ends his career with 25 rushing touchdowns, ranking tied for ninth all-time. Creeger also ranks 10th all time in completions (81) and sixth all time in passing yards (1,705). Creeger is tied for fourth all-time in passing touchdowns with 14, ranks fifth all-time in average yards per pass (7.8), ranks fourth all-time in average yards per completion (21.0) and 10th in passing yards per game (51.7). Creeger ranks ninth all-time in touchdowns responsible for (39).

Jacob Doolan ranks third all-time in average yards per rush (7.40) and second all-time in average yards per catch (24.29). Doolan ranks fifth all-time in total offense per play (7.38) and 10th in all purpose yards (2,970) and all purpose yards per game (92.8).

Jordan Susi ranks sixth all time in pass reception yards (1,034), ninth all time in pass receptions (46), and is tied for fifth all-time with 11 touchdown receptions.  Susi ranks fourth all-time in average yards per catch (22.48) and eighth all-time in receptions per game (1.92). Susi also ranks sixth all-time in kick return yards (663), while teammate John Bennett ranks ninth all-time with 566 return yards.

Susi sits at seventh all-time in average yards per kick return (21.39)

John Bennett sits at eighth all-time in interception return yards (112) and both Bennett and Trenton Bouchard are tied for ninth all time in passes defended with 18.
