Maine Maritime Academy's Last Game: Maine Maritime Academy men's basketball fell to York College 79-72 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at York College Gym.
The Mariners built an early 10-2 lead, but the Cardinals fought back and took a 41-36 advantage into halftime.
York led by as many as 10 points in the second half, but the Mariners scored nine-unanswered points to tie the game at 60-60 with 9:41 remaining. Maine Maritime took a 63-62 lead after a three-pointer from Nicholas DePatsy (Waldoboro, Maine) but the Cardinals held the Mariners to just nine points in the final seven minutes of the game to hang on for the win.
Freshman DeMerrill Levy (Houston, Texas) led the Mariners with 29 points, on 11-of-15 shooting from the floor, and a perfect 4-of-4 from beyond the arc. Levy also contributed three rebounds and two assists.
DePatsy recorded 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal and Adam Richardson (Bradley, Maine) added 11 points, a team-high eight rebounds, and four assists.
Stephan Cadet led York with 16 points, seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block. Darin Dove added 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block and Malique John chipped in with 11 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
The Mariners shot 50 percent from the floor, and 50 percent from three-point land while the Cardinals shot 38.2 percent from the floor and 35.7 percent from beyond the arc. York held a 43-36 edge in rebounds.

Eastern Nazarene College's Last Game: The Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team dropped a 95-81 decision at Endicott Monday evening.
The Lions slip to 0-1 on the year with the result while the Gulls improve to 1-0 overall.
Garrett Crandell poured in 28 points and added five rebounds and three assists in his debut for Eastern Nazarene. Josh Rice notched a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Jacob Waldroop finished with nine points, five rebounds, and five assists. Ricky Shearman chipped in with nine points while Andrew Mitchell tallied eight points.
After Crandell splashed a three-pointer for the visitors to open the game, the home side rattled off 12 unanswered points to grab a 12-3 lead with 16:23 remaining in the first half.
Endicott stretched its advantage to double-digits with 14:51 on the clock, 17-7, on a trey by Keith Brown.
The Gulls widened the gap to 32-12 after a 12-0 run with 10:58 left to play in the opening frame.
Eastern Nazarene cut the deficit to nine with 1:10 to go in the first half as Crandell drained a three-pointer from the right wing, 54-45.
The Lions trailed 56-45 at the half after trailing by as much as 22 points in the first period.
The guests shot 44.8% from the floor and connected on 6-of-11 from behind the arc in the opening half. The hosts sported a field-goal percentage of 60.7% at the break to go with 12-of-20 shooting from three-point range.
