September 9, 2017: Klopfer Leads Mariners to Victory Against UMaine-Presque Isle

Erich Klopfer carded a 79 to lead Maine Maritime Academy golf over UMaine-Presque Isle.

October 16, 2017: Moir Guides Maine Maritime to Fourth Place Finish at NAC Championship

Maine Maritime Academy golf finished fourth at the 2017 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship at the Berkshire Hills Country Club, led by junior Joey Moir who finished in a three-way tie for 11th place with a two-day total of 161 (79-82).

October 18, 2017: Moir and Whittemore Named in NAC All-Conference Awards

Maine Maritime Academy's junior Joey Moir was named to the NAC Second Team and senior Chase Whittemore was named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team for the second year in a row.

September 11, 2017: Mersch Named NAC Rookie of the Week

Mersch had an impressive first week for the Mariners, leading the team in the John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by Saint Joseph's College of Maine. The rookie was the overall top finisher for the Mariners, leading the way with a 75 to finish second overall out of 40 golfers on the par 72 course. Mersch finished second overall at the Mariners' dual match with UMaine-Presque Isle, carding an 80 (+8).  

Eliot Sibley was named to the 2017 NAC Fall All-Academic Team.

The Mariners also landed five on the ECAC Academic Honor Rolls. Dylan Birmingham joined Chance Whittemore and Chase Whittemore on the ECAC Academic Honor Roll while Erich Klopfer and Eliot Sibley were named to the ECAC President's Honor Roll.
