Joey Moir, a four-year member of the Maine Maritime Academy golf team, two-year SAAC President and Power Engineering Technology major, has secured a position with Kiewit Power Constructors. Moir, a two-year team captain, 2017 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Second Team All-Conference selection and 2018 NAC Golf Sportsmanship Team selection, will serve as a Field Engineer 1.

Battling windy conditions on the par 70 track at the Augusta Country Club, Husson’s Nick Mazurek shot a 74 to top the 40-golfer field at the Mariner Invitational on Thursday. Mazurek led the Eagles to a team score of 306, good enough for the team championship, knocking off the two-time defending champions, Southern Maine, which shot 311.
