Last Meeting: The two teams last met on April 19, 2011. Colby took a 21-4 victory over the Mariners, in Castine. The Mariners scored all four of their goals in the second half.
Maine Maritime Academy's Last Game: The Mariners opened up their season on February 28, with a 14-5 loss at Rivier College.
Nicholas Betti (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Mariners on offense, while Dean Samuelson (Ellsworth, Maine), A.J. Larrabee (Farmington, Maine), and Peter Moore (Scarborough, Maine) added the other scores.
Defensively, Bronson Guimond (Portland, Maine) and Tim Grant (East Northport, N.Y.) led the Mariners with three caused turnovers each. Guimond, Larrabee, and James Wilgus (Phippsburg, Maine) each scooped up six ground balls. Wilgus recorded 11 saves in net.
Colby College's Last Game: Colby College fell to Hamilton College on March 7, 12-10, in NESCAC play. John Grimaldi had three goals and one assist for the Mules. Alex Rutan scored twice for the Mules. Derek Youngman and Austin Sayre each had one goal and one assist.
Kenny Jacobson led the Mules defensively with four caused turnovers and four groundballs. Graham Lian added three caused turnovers and a pair of groundballs. Austin Frank was 14-for-25 on face-offs and scooped six groundballs.
The Mariners: After just one game, Nicholas Betti leads the team with two goals, while Dean Samuelson has an assist and a goal.

Austin Frank leads the Mules with 11 ground balls, while going 23-44 on face-offs and Kenny Jacobson leads the team with four caused turnovers.
Tyler Will has recorded 27 saves in two games in net for the Mules, while allowing 19 goals.
