Series History: The Mules hold a 7-0 all-time record over the Mariners, including a 3-0 record when hosting. 

Last Meeting: Maine Maritime Academy men's lacrosse fell to Colby College 19-0, last season on April 17, 2018 in non-conference action at Ritchie Field.

Maine Maritime's Isaiah Weston was impressive in net, tallying six saves in just the first quarter to keep the Mules lead to 4-0, but the Mules added six goals in the second quarter to hold a commanding 10-0 lead at halftime and never looked back on their way to the 19-0 victory.

Weston ended the game with 15 saves in net for the Mariners, while the Mules had three goalies combine for four saves.

Max Barton (Yarmouth, Maine) led the Mariners with eight ground balls and three caused turnovers while William Evon (Barrington, Ill.) scooped up six ground balls and caused three turnovers and Christopher Flaherty added three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.

Charlie Lynch, Derek Muse and Scott Miller led the Mules with three goals each, Joe Paolatto led the team with 11 ground balls.

Maine Maritime Academy's Last Game: Maine Maritime Academy men's lacrosse cruised to a 24-6 victory over NVU-Johnson on Saturday morning in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action at Norwich University's Sabine Field.

Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) and Zeke Tocci (Naples, Maine) scored goals in the opening minute to put the Mariners up 2-0. Johnson's Dave Legris cut the gap to 2-1 but the Mariners scored eight goals to take a 10-2 lead into the second quarter. Maine Maritime continued to dominate in the second quarter and took a 14-3 lead into halftime.

The Badgers scored three-unanswered goals to open up the third quarter but the Mariners scored 10-unanswered goals to secure the 24-6 win.

Wilson led all players with a career-high seven goals and added two assists and three ground balls. Tocci added a career-high six goals and six assists, while contributing four ground balls and a caused turnover.

Sawyer Watson (Topsham, Maine) tallied four goals, an assist and four ground balls, Alex Snowman (Sarasota, Fla.) added three goals and six ground balls, while tying the Maine Maritime single-game record with 21 faceoff wins, and Bailey Stockford (Mt. Vernon, Maine) added a pair of goals, a ground ball and a caused turnover.

Defensively William Evon led the Mariners with 12 ground balls and a caused turnover. Matthew Emery (St. Johnsbury, Vt.) earned in the victory in net for the Mariners with his performance in the first half, stopping four shots, while Verne Rice (Stratham, N.H.) added three saves in the second half.

Josh Benak led the Badgers with two goals, Ryan Palmisano tallied a team-best five ground balls and Marcus Holmes recorded a game-high four caused turnovers.

Patrick Bell collected one save in net for the Badgers, while Jacob Switzer accumulated nine saves in nearly 47 minutes of play.

The Mariners dominated ground balls 52-13, faceoffs 22-34.

Colby College's Last Game: Colby College fell to Williams College, 11-6 on Saturday afternoon.

CJ Hassan led the Mules with two goals, while goalie C.J. Layton tallied an impressive 24 saves and led the team with five ground balls. The Mules won the battle of ground balls 27-25, but the Ephs won 15 faceoffs compared to the Mules six wins.

The Mariners: After seven games the Mariners average 9.14 goals and 35.14 shots per game, while averaging 25.7 percent on man-up opportunities, 49.2 percent on the faceoff and 71.3 percent on clear attempts.

Zeke Tocci leads the team with 23 goals, Tocci and Jayden Wilson both lead the team with 10 assists and William Evon leads the Mariners with 45 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. Alex Snowman leads the Mariners on the faceoff, going 77-of-145. 

In net, Matthew Emery leads the Mariners with 82 saves and a 51.6 save percentage.   

The Mules: After 11 games the Mules average 13.45 goals and 42.45 shots per game, while averaging 28.2 percent on man-up chances, 58.5 percent on the faceoff and 82.2 percent on clears.

CJ Hassan leads the team with 21 goals, while Charlie Lynch leads the team with 15 assists, and Joe Paolatto leads the team with 39 ground balls, going 110-of-174 from the faceoff. Will Dodge leads the Mules offensively with 14 caused turnovers and in net, C.J. Layton leads the team with 102 saves for a 55.7 save percentage.
