Jayden Wilson (Lewiston, Maine) and Zeke Tocci (Naples, Maine) scored goals in the opening minute to put the Mariners up 2-0. Johnson's Dave Legris cut the gap to 2-1 but the Mariners scored eight goals to take a 10-2 lead into the second quarter. Maine Maritime continued to dominate in the second quarter and took a 14-3 lead into halftime.
The Badgers scored three-unanswered goals to open up the third quarter but the Mariners scored 10-unanswered goals to secure the 24-6 win.
Wilson led all players with a career-high seven goals and added two assists and three ground balls. Tocci added a career-high six goals and six assists, while contributing four ground balls and a caused turnover.
Sawyer Watson (Topsham, Maine) tallied four goals, an assist and four ground balls, Alex Snowman (Sarasota, Fla.) added three goals and six ground balls, while tying the Maine Maritime single-game record with 21 faceoff wins, and Bailey Stockford (Mt.
