The men's team finished second at the Husson Harrier Invitational in 2013 and 2014.
On September 19, Maine Maritime will compete at the Unity Invitational, a meet that the women's team won last year, with five runners placing in the top 10.

Senior Chase Reidelbach (Virgina Beach, Va.) has been named the 2015 team captain for the men's team. Seniors Alice Stenquist (Bath, Maine) and Gabrielle Wells (Kittery, Maine) will co-captain the women's team. Wells also served as team captain for the 2014 season.
Reidelbach, a Marine Systems Engineering major, serves as a Cadet Electrician and is a student ambassador for Admissions. Chase was named to the 2014 North Atlantic Conference All-Academic Team and was a member of the 2012 and 2014 USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Team.
"Chase will be the captain for the largest Men's squad in the history of the program, with over 30 student-athletes expected to join in the fall. His depth of understanding the workouts, philosophy of the team, and attention to academics has gained him with the respect and trust from his teammates that it takes to lead the team as captain," said Head Cross Country Coach Ryan King.
Wells, a Marine Transportation Operations major, is the Cadet Chief Mate, and a Top Deck Cadet Shipping Award Recipient. Gabrielle was a member of the 2013 USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Team.
"Gabe has done an exemplary job as captain last year leading the 15 student-athletes to their first invitational victory at Unity Invitational as well as helping to insure the long term, sustainable growth of the women's cross country program," King said.
Stenquist, a Marine Transportation Operations major, serves as the Cadet Boatswain and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Member. Alice was also voted Secretary for the Class of 2016 and was a member of the 2013 USTFCCCA Women's All-Academic Team.
"Alice's spirit and enthusiasm for the women's program both on and off the racecourse during her three years of participation is deserving of her being captain for her senior year. I am proud of her accomplishments and look forward to her continued team leadership in the fall," King added.
