Despite facing a 16-13 deficit after the first quarter, the Mariners outscored the Owls 22-10 in the third quarter, including going 10-of-11 from the line, to claim the victory.
Alayne Felix (Mahopac, N.Y.) tallied a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Mariners, while adding two steals, two blocks and an assist.
Megan McLean (Eliot, Maine) added 10 rebounds, nine points, and three assists.
Emily McPadden led Keene with 10 points, three rebounds and three assists and teammate Kenzie Bennett added nine points, eight rebounds, two steals and an assist.
The Mariners held a 43-39 edge in rebounds.
Bay Path University & Bard College's Last Game: Christina Kiser scored 35 points to lead Bard College to a 67-46 win over Bay Path University on Friday night.
Kiser finished the night shooting 13-for-25 overall, 5-for-12 from three and 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Kiser also grabbed nine rebounds, three assists and two steals in the effort.
Despite the final score line, the game was quite competitive early as Bard and Bay Path traded scoring runs. Bard opened the evening with back-to-back three pointers from Caleigh DeCaprio and Kiser to jump in front, before a 7-0 run from the Wildcats put the guests on top.
The Raptors answered right back however, as the team finished the first quarter on an 8-0 run to grab a 14-7 lead after 10 minutes.
From there, the hosts poured it on. They outscored the Wildcats, 21-13, in the second quarter to take a 35-20 halftime lead. After three quarters, Bard led 53-30.
DeCaprio was the only other Bard player to finish in double digits, as she added 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting. Freshman Jess Rylander grabbed 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals in the winning effort.
Emmeline Bronson led Bay Path with 20 points and seven rebounds.
