Bryn Doiron
Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Bryn is a licensed, registered dietitian in private practice for over 30 years in Central Maine. She is assisting the women's soccer program this year with fueling, hydration, and fitness strategies for optimal performance as well as working with staff in the Polar Technology system. She earned her B.S. in Food and Nutrition from the University of Maine and was a member of the Division I, UMO Nordic Ski Team. She completed her clinical nutrition internship training in Pittsburgh, Penn., and furthered her studies earning a B.S. in Education and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. She was the chief clinical dietitian at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, Maine for 10 years, specializing in cardiovascular wellness, weight management, and fitness. She coached middle and high school Nordic skiing for nine years and was an adjunct professor in Nutrition at University of Maine at Farmington.  She is currently a consultant at multiple facilities, including UMF Health Center/Athletic teams, long-term care facilities and individual counseling in Medical Nutrition Therapy.
