Season Preview: Cross Country

Season Opener: Maine Maritime Cross Country will open up the 2018 season on Saturday, September 1 at the UMaine-Presque Isle Invitational.

History at UMPI: This is the first time the Mariners will return to UMaine-Presque Isle since 2010.

Who's Who: The Mariners will be competing alongside North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opponents Thomas College and the Owls.

What is Next: The Mariners will to their home course at the Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast, Maine to host the Mariner Invitational on Saturday, September 8. 

The squad will head to the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 15 and the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College on Saturday, September 22. 

Maine Maritime will compete at the State on Maine Championship hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday, September 29 before competing at the Green Mountain Invitational in Vermont on Saturday, October 13. 

The Mariners will host the NAC Championship at the Troy Howard Middle School on Sunday, October 28 in Belfast and will wrap up their season at the NCAA New England Regional Championship at Bowdoin College on Saturday, November 10.

Captains: The men's cross country team will be led by captain Keenan Martin (Dixfield, Maine), while the women's team will be lead by captains Alex Allen (Easton, Maine) and Julia Dillon (Norway, Maine).
